Forum PET is the platform for the German PET industry. The two core objectives of the association are to provide information and to promote the circular economy of PET. Forum PET is backed by PET producers, manufacturers of PET preforms and bottles, beverage producers, recyclers and machine builders for the food, beverage and packaging industries.
Members aim to work closely together to help further improve the environmental footprint of PET products. Forum PET is therefore actively committed to optimising all process steps along the value chain in terms of resources and climate protection. It regularly commissions studies in order to keep a scientific record of the progress made within the PET industry. One example is the study on the PET materials cycle in Germany, which is produced every two years by the Gesellschaft für Verpackungsmarktforschung (Society for Packaging Market Research).
Companies from the entire PET value chain can become members of Forum PET, i.e. PET producers, preform and bottle manufacturers, beverage fillers, recyclers and machine manufacturers.
